Life is a chain of moments and every moment is stored in memory like storing valuables in a big cupboard with thousand of drawers. Each moment has one or two unique triggers to remember. For me, the triggers are music and fragrance. There is some moment in my life that attached to a specific song or scent. And every time the triggers coming, it gives me feelings I can't explain. Sometimes it creates hollow in my heart, and it gives me a fuzzy feeling in the other time. Either way, it was an incredible feeling for me.
Before I tell you about what’s on my blog, I will tell you about my musical habit. I have a tendency to replay a song (yes, 1 single song) for days just merely because I really like the song, its melody, or the lyrics. So I may not be categorised as a creative-musical person and knowledge-worthy-music person (don’t expect much from me ;p). I also have some particular music genre to hear. I definitely in love with acoustic music, with a gentle vocal and a unique composition. I love a little slow ballad, jazz, and country music. Maybe it’s because I’m a melancholic, so ballad-slow songs attached to me more than the others. However, it doesn’t mean that I can’t slay a Diva’s songs like Beyonce, Mariah, Celine Dion, etc. Darling, I live for it.
So in this blog, I would share to you my rendition of a song or scent. What memories triggered by it and how I feel about it. The songs and fragrances may not related to the moment musically or lyric-wise. Mainly the song is attached to some certain moments because I heard that song at that moment. About the scent-related moments, I might not be able to explain it to you directly. I would likely have a lengthy explanation to give you a comprehensive idea about it. I may be making names that might not exist in the real world.
I hope you do not think I’m a weird person. I just want to share my view of the world. I will attach some pictures related to the moments if it’s available.
